What is Sin?
Sin refers to any action or attitude that distances ourselves from God. Sin has a negative and damaging effect in our lives and in the lives of those that are affected by our actions or attitudes.
Essential to the Word
The Bible provides us with information about how to act and think in order to live the life God wants us to. For example, Exodus 20:1-17 lists the “Ten Commandments” that give us clear instructions on how we must relate to God and other people. Also, in the Gospel of Matthew, chapters 5 to 7, Jesus teaches us how to behave as His followers.
